‘INDIEOPIA’ is the inaugural Indie Music Festival held by The University of Queensland Union on October 6th 2023. The music festival caters to all music fans, particularly for our current UQ students and alumni. We’ve featured a diverse line-up that features musicians who are currently popular in the Australian Indie Music Scene.
 
We want to give our UQ community the best place to watch the best music. ‘Ignition’ in 2006 was UQU’s last music festival of this magnitude, also held on the Forgan Smith Lawn with a multi-act line-up. ‘INDIEOPIA’ is the union’s official return to the live music scene.
 
Tickets for our UQ Alumni are priced at $35 + booking fee.
 
'INDIEOPIA' is breaking new ground as the The University of Queensland Union's first ‘indie music festival’, specially crafted for students, by students.
