UQ Brisbane City – guided tours available
Located in the impressive state heritage-listed National Australia Bank building originally built in 1881, the Atrium is UQ’s new space for professional development, networking and events. Join us for guided tours in the grand interior, or refreshments under the dome.

Andrew N Liveris Building
At 11 storeys high, the building is the tallest building on UQ’s St Lucia campus, and is a vibrant hub to address global challenges in energy, water and sustainable manufacturing. More than just smart architecture, this building has the potential to unlock ways for Australia to transition to a sustainable, zero-emissions economy.

Patina at Alumni Court – guided tours available
Incorporating the heritage-listed former Radon-Laboratory, this stunning contemporary restaurant with it’s copper finishes and luxe interior, is tucked away next to the historic sandstone Great Court.

Patina will be open from 9am-4pm on Saturday 15 July, with food and drinks available.

UQ Philanthropy Trail
Enjoy exploring hidden campus histories and learning the stories behind named campus buildings, facilities and features, around the iconic heritage-listed Great Court.

Advanced Engineering Building
The AEB establishes a new front door to the UQ St Lucia campus, and is a world-class facility, transforming the possibilities in research and education.

UQ Student Central Prentice Building
Nature meets nurture where Student Central reinvents the delivery of student support services on campus. With sandstone terraces, lush greenery, and an interior wrapped in timber, terrazzo, and finger-mosaic tiles, Student Central invites students to pause and connect.

ModWest
ModWest is a temporary teaching and learning facility, conceived, designed and built in twelve months. With more than 800 seats, and an expansive view over the concourse, ModWest is a great example of the potential of temporary spaces.

Zelman Cowan Building
Designed in a neo-brutalism style, and first opened in 1976, Zelman Cowen now houses the School of Architecture, and the School of Music.

Mayne Medical School
The UQ Mayne Medical School based at the Herston Health Precinct, houses The University of Queensland’s Faculty of Medicine – an internationally recognised provider of world-class education and research. The Faculty of Medicine offers Australia’s largest medical degree program for graduates and school-leavers.
