As part of the UQ community you have access to a range of benefits and services including:

It is a priority for the UQ alumni team to improve “alumni perks”. We welcome your feedback on how to increase the value of our benefits and services to you.

New UQ Alumni and Community website is now live!

The UQ Alumni and Community website has had a facelift and is now looking better than ever. As of March 2008, we replaced our old alumni website with a more user-friendly and attractive site that we know you'll want to keep coming back to. Some of the key features include:

  • Alumni benefits and services
  • A user-friendly "Update Your Details" section
  • Information about the many different alumni networks
  • Information about alumni events
  • A guide to UQ services and facilities

Let us know how you feel about the revamped site by clicking on the yellow "What do you think of our new website?" button on the homepage. We'd love to hear your thoughts.

UQ Alumnus of the Year Awards

Inspired by the remarkable accomplishments of our alumni, The Alumni Association of the University of Queensland will call for nominations in May for the 2008 UQ Alumnus of the Year award. The University will also call for nominations for the Young Alumnus of the Year and International Alumnus of the Year awards at the same time. These annual awards honour alumni whose distinguished achievements have brought recognition to both themselves and The University of Queensland. Further information will be available on the Alumni Association's website and on the official UQ Alumni and Friends website in May.
