Chancellor's Fund Appeal

Your gift to the University can help fund facilities, programs, research and scholarships. You can designate your gift to a particular school or program or leave your gift unrestricted so it can be used for emerging needs, such as construction of new facilities, scholarships, innovative new programs, research or technology. Read some examples of how UQ is using donor funds on the Your donation in action page.

There are several ways to give to UQ and all donations, large and small, are gratefully received. You may consider leaving a bequest to UQ in your Will, supporting an endowment or making a donation online.

The Cultural Gifts Program encourages donations of significant cultural items including fine art and antiquities to galleries, museums and Libraries. The University includes the University Art Museum, the Fryer Library and the Antiquities Museum which are most suitable to house and maintain your works of cultural value.  The program, administered by Department of Communications, Information Technology and the Arts (DCITA) offers donors a tax deduction for the market value of their gift.

If you are interested in making a gift to the University, contact us. Advancement Office staff can advise you on ways your gift can make an impact through The University of Queensland.
