The Advancement Office is responsible for leading and coordinating activities and services that help raise the profile of The University of Queensland to alumni, corporate and industry partners and the broader community.
The Advancement Office supports The University of Queensland’s vision, mission and goals by raising awareness of the University, generating financial assistance and providing services to the University's key stakeholders, including alumni and the community. The Advancement Office is responsible for the management of programs relating to University alumni and benefactors. It provides services to and works collaboratively with Faculties, Schools and Institutes and other central administration areas.
The key areas within the office include:

Alumni and Community Relations: coordinates the UQ Alumni Program and provides leadership throughout the University on alumni relations, communications and events

Fundraising: coordinates fundraising initiatives and activities across the University

Advancement Services: manages the financial processes that are the key to relationship building

Information and Knowledge Management: manages the University’s relationship management system for alumni, friends and the community - Raiser’s Edge
